Memorial Stanko Radikon
On September 11, 2016 Stanko entrusted us with his whole life, his teachings, his wines and his vineyards, with the responsibility and honor of continuing the routeway he started.
For anyone who would like to contribute to a good reason, we organize together with his closest friends, a big “celebration” for his birthday.
On December 20th, therefore, in approximately every couple of years, we involve winemakers and restaurateurs from many areas of Italy and from Slovenia and Croatia in a tasting dedicated to his memory, to remind us how wine unites rather than divides and the comparison, although sometimes combative – but always respectful and honest – has been for him (and it is for us) a reason for growth. It is a good opportunity to reflect and to constantly improve yourself.
Živijo Stanko! “živijo” in Slovenian, his mother language, can be translated as the “cheers” which was used in the past as a wish for life and as a daily greeting, that he used to toast by raising the glasses. Živijo Stanko! To you! To life!

Živijo! 5th Memorial Stanko Radikon – December 20, 2022
We look forward to seeing you on December 20, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM (last entry at 9:00 PM) at the Unione Ginnastica Goriziana halls in Gorizia, via Giovanni Rismondo 2.
The minimum participation fee, which can be purchased directly at the door, costs € 50 and includes the tasting of food and wine products and the Živijo glass. There is no limit to the number of entries.
The proceeds will be donated to charity, for the purchase of specific medical equipment, in agreement with Asugi (Gorizia Hospital). In previous years we have collaborated with Burlo Garofolo IRCCS Hospital in Trieste, Aviano Oncology Reference Center (CRO) and Azzurra Rare Disease Association, as well as carrying out various projects in the area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The venue of the event is in the city center, reachable by bus (TPLFVG app) or on foot from the Gorizia Centrale train station (24 minutes). There are several car parks in the area, for example Piazza Cesare Battisti, or the large Camper Service car park (free for cars and campers), or several spaces in the city streets. Please note that the taxi service is usually active only during the day until around 8:00 PM (if necessary, arrange an evening service in advance).
